The CRW1 seal features a metal skeleton, a WAVE sealing lip made of elastic material that achieves higher pumping speeds and reduces heat generation, and a retaining spring that optimizes sealing performance against the shaft. Most seals feature a coating on the outer diameter that helps fill micro-defects within the bearing housing bore.

For lubricating oil or grease; with clamping spring; WAVE seal lip enables higher pumping speeds; WAVE seal lip reduces friction between shaft and lip; WAVE seal lip maintains lower temperatures at contact points.
