Original High Speed Thrust Bearing Low Friction 53238U 53238 51238
Overview of NACHI Thrust Ball Bearings
Thrust ball bearings are designed to handle axial loads only.
Thrust ball bearings consist of ball, retainer and both shaft and housing washers which contain grooves for the ball.
The double Direction Thrust ball bearings can support bi-directional loads.
The bearings with spherical housing washer can prevent static misalignment.
Thrust ball bearings consist of ball, retainer, both shaft and housing washers which contain grooves for the balls, and can be subject to axial load only.
Since introduction of polyamide cages the level of noise substantially improved.
Attention
The design of Thrust Ball Bearing may not be subjected to any radial load.
Thrust Ball Bearings are not suitable for high-speed rotation since lubricant is expelled by centrifugal force.
When used on a horizontal shaft, a minimum axial load must be applied.
Care must be taken in handling to prevent damage to the separable rings and ball assembly.

Application |
1. Ball Thrust Bearings should use close to the radial bearing, in order to prevent the effect of shafts deflection.
2. When using big size ball bearings on a horizontal shaft, preload should be implemented to prevent the clearance between housing washer and balls.
3. Under the inevitable circumstances of shaft deflection and misalignment, aligning seat washer should be applied. |
